PRECICAD is committed to excel in environmental matters of integrated product development services and takes the following safety measures to reduce to a minimum the negative impacts on the environment:
Through our services, PRECICAD influences our client’s product designs by applying eco-design tools, with the use of recycled and recyclable materials, by optimization of the weight of the newly designed product leading to a decreased use of raw materials and a reduction of energy consumption. Our design orientations will have positive impacts on the environment. Our in-house and R&D projects enable us to develop our expertise in the environmental field through the search for new materials and new manufacturing processes.
A regular internal audit of our procedures enables us to continually enhance our environmental system, to prevent pollution and to evaluate our environmental performance.
Our Commitments:
Participate actively in waste management, re-use and recycling of waste material produced by our activities.
Conform to the environmental laws and regulations as well as other requirements applicable to our activities and identified environmental aspects.
Elaborate and ensure the follow-up of environmental programs that correspond to our environmental goals and objectives.
Review our environmental policy annually in order to ensure that it is still applicable and appropriate for Précicad activities and that it conforms to legal requirements and all other requirements we have adhered to.
Sensitize our employees and our suppliers to the benefits of conforming to the requirements of our environmental system and to the impacts they may have on the environment.
Share and distribute our environmental policy making it accessible to external parties and be attentive to their requests in environmental matters.
Based on our business activities and the types of services we provide to our customers, we consider the following environmental aspects to be significant:
Throughout our client projects, reduce the use of raw materials and natural resources;
Through our client projects and research and development, increase the use of recyclable and recycled material;
Reduction of waste and by-products (computers, used CD’s, paper, etc.);
Reduction of gas emissions caused by the use of automobiles
by prioritizing carpooling and public transit when traveling.
